About

Car Dealer Check is an independent directory published by Sabr Software. Car buyers search for reviews but rarely check the one thing the state does publish: whether the dealer is licensed. We built this directory from the New York and Connecticut DMV files so you can check a dealer's licence, see how long it has been registered, and read what each state's used car warranty requires.

We build listings from public records and verify what we can against official sources. We are not affiliated with any agency or with the businesses listed.
